My Work Experience
2022 - Present
Software Engineer, AI Enterprise Solutions
Cisco, Networking Innovation Lab (San Jose, CA)
Implemented core architecture, features, and skills for a cutting-edge Deep Networking Agent, integrated and shipped within Cisco AI Assistants. Refined a library of 300+ networking skills addressing core enterprise customer use cases, automating workflows from customer requirements to executable skills. Implemented core LangGraph architecture spanning harness engineering, iterative planning, tool calling, context window management, memory compaction, and human-in-the-loop approval. Built a cost-effective alternative agent by dynamically routing to internal finetuned SLMs. Independently developed a design studio empowering customers to build, test, and deploy custom skills. Spearheaded innovation for an agent evaluation framework leveraging mock network simulation, scaled to 3,000+ test scenarios deployed in production CI/CD pipelines to regression test updated skills. Enabled agent self-improvement by creating AI-driven tools for automated trajectory grading and LangSmith trace observability. Presented a prototype to 100+ customers at Cisco Live 2025, AI-Driven Switching panel.
Independently developed an AI-Powered CoPilot for network device template design. Built an interactive, stateful, multi-turn RAG system for dynamic CLI auto-generation, streamlining template development. Conducted client interviews and UI testing to curate and evaluate effective prototypes. Led implementation for various new features to Cisco's Secure Equipment Access including multi protocol access, third party integrations, session monitoring and recording, mobile device support, event-based notifications, high availability scalability support, advanced session metrics, and self-updating binaries. Performed and presented robust market analysis to identify potential growth areas, competitive advantages, and high value project investments. Issued 2 patents with 10+ pending for solutions to security, networking, and automation challenges.
